Stage 14 Alpe du Tontoganaille 50km

A brutal day of climbing which culminated in the ascent of Alpe du Tontoganaille - the most famous climb in all of cycling. This monster rises over 12 meters over 5 grueling kilometers. Many a cyclist has abandoned the tour here, but the signs urged us to fight on.

I am proud to say that I made it to the top.

Notice the breathtaking snow-capped peaks in the background. The similarities to the Tour de France are remarkable.
