Stage 20 Time Trial 14 km

For readers unfamiliar with bike racing, a time trial is an individual race against the clock. Riding in groups (which leads to drafting) is not allowed. Though it is arguably the truest test of a racer's individual ability, it is ridiculously boring to watch. The riders use different bikes and wear special gear. Here is an example:

I don't have a special bike or special gear, and considering that I am the only rider in the Tour de NW Ohio, all of my rides have been time trials (though I really haven't paid much attention to the time). Nevertheless, I did try to ride this very short stage as fast as I could. I would like to report my average speed, but my wonky speedometer failed after about 2km. Before it died, I was going about 35kph into a light head wind. I was definitely out of breath at the end.

Demain, Paris!
